ProxyPorts Refund Policy
We want every customer to be satisfied with their purchase. Here is our complete refund and replacement policy.
Refund Eligibility Windows
- 24-hour unused window — If you purchased a proxy and have not used it at all, you can request a full refund within 24 hours of purchase.
- 3-day conditional window — Within 3 days of purchase, you may be eligible for a refund if the proxy has a verified technical issue that our support team cannot resolve.
After 3 days, refunds are generally not available.
Two Types of Refunds
Understanding the difference between these two refund types is important, as they have very different processing times and requirements.
1. Balance Refund (Account Credit)
- The purchase amount is credited back to your ProxyPorts account balance.
- Processed quickly — usually within minutes to a few hours.
- The balance can be used to purchase a different proxy or plan.
- Your account remains active and in good standing.
2. Payment Method Refund (Credit Card / Crypto)
- The purchase amount is refunded to your original payment method.
- Takes up to 14 banking days to process.
- Requires permanent termination and closure of your entire ProxyPorts account.
- This is irreversible — once your account is closed for a payment method refund, it cannot be reopened.
Important: In most cases, a balance refund is the faster and more practical option. Only request a payment method refund if you are certain you will not use ProxyPorts again.
Duplicate Orders
If you accidentally made a duplicate purchase or selected the wrong plan:
- Stop using the proxy immediately. Any usage may disqualify you from a refund.
- Contact support as soon as possible with your order details.
- If the proxy is unused, you will receive a fast balance refund.
The key is to act quickly — the sooner you report the duplicate, the smoother the refund process.
What Is NOT Eligible for Refund
- Proxies that have been used for more than 3 days.
- Proxies blocked by specific platforms (this is expected behavior for certain sites — see our article on platform blocks).
- High fraud scores on third-party checkers (see our fraud score article).
- IP classification mismatches by external databases.
- Speed complaints within the documented 100 Mbps cap.
